An Independence Day Celebration and Citizens’ parade will take place from 2 pm until 5 pm this Saturday. It will begin and end on the lawn of the Fifth Avenue Law Enforcement Center in downtown Rome. Activities will include prayer for our nation, tributes to American veterans and heroes, reading of the Declaration of Independence, patriotic music and a citizens parade.
