ALMOST 88,000 HAVE BEEN NOW INFECTED WITH CORONAVIRUS IN GEORGIA

Nearly 88,000 people have been infected with coronavirus in Georgia, per the state Department of Public Health.

According to the latest report by the DPH, there were 87,709 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide as of 3 pm on Thursday afternoon. There were 2,849 deaths related to the virus. In Floyd County, there were 552 confirmed cases and 15 fatalities. Gwinnett County reported the highest number of confirmed cases in the state with 8,619. Fulton County had the most deaths with 314.
