ALMOST 104,000 IN GEORGIA HAVE BEEN INFECTED WITH THE CORONAVIRUS

Almost 104,000 people in Georgia have been infected with coronavirus, per the state Department of Public Health.

According to the latest numbers by the DPH, there were 103,890 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide as of 3 pm on Wednesday afternoon. There were 2,922 deaths related to the virus. In Floyd County, there were 654 confirmed cases and 15 fatalities. Gwinnett County reported this state’s highest number of confirmed cases with 10,237, while Fulton County has had the most deaths with 319.
