HARBIN CLINIC AND THE YMCA OF ROME AND FLOYD COUNTY ANNOUNCE TEAM UP FOR HEALTH INITIATIVE

The Harbin Clinic and the YMCA of Rome and Floyd County held an event on Monday morning to announce Team Up for Health, which is an initiative focused on improving the health and well-being of children and youth in the community via collaboration. As such, Harbin will sponsor the YMCA’s team based soccer and basketball programs for kids from pre-school all the way up to high school.

Kenna Stock, Chief Executive Officer of the Harbin Clinic, says that the goal of this partnership with the Y is to support programming intended to close the gap around healthcare disparities among youth in the community.

Scott McCreless, Executive Director of the YMCA of Rome-Floyd County, states that he is particularly enthusiastic that this partnership enables kids to participate in sports, regardless of their ability to pay.

This is a continuation of a long time partnership among the entities. For more information about the initiative, visit www.harbinclinic.com/teamup.
