DAVIES HOMELESS SHELTERS SEEK DONATION IN LIGHT OF AN ANTICIPATED RISE IN CLIENTS

The William S. Davies Homeless Shelters have witnessed an uptick in clients amid the days of coronavirus. Devon Smyth, Executive Director, anticipates that more and more people will seek help from The Shelter (for men) and the Ruth and Naomi House (for women and children) as this current health crisis continues.

Like so many other non-profits, the Davies Homeless Shelters currently face challenges with fund raising. Regular donors have continued to offer support, though additional donations from the public are sought and appreciated, says Smyth. Donations may be made online at www.daviesshelter.com.

Financial contributions will go towards operational costs and services offered by the shelters, attests Smyth, who also seeks donations of toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, and breakfast foods.
