The Northside Swim Center, 501 Kingston Avenue in Rome, has closed down since a part-time employee tested positive for COVID-19, this according to a release by Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation. Signage has been posted at the facility to notify the public of the closure.
As the pool season was already approaching its end, the decision was made to close the pool until next year.
