More than 131,000 people in Georgia have been infected with coronavirus while the death toll has exceeded 3,100, per the state Department of Public Health.
According to the latest report by the DPH at just prior to 3 pm on Thursday afternoon, there were 131,275 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state. A total of 3,104 fatalities have been attributed to the virus. In Floyd County, there were 810 confirmed cases and 15 fatalities. Gwinnett County had this state’s highest number of confirmed cases with 12,489, while Fulton County had the most deaths with 333.
