The number of coronavirus cases in Georgia is nearing 150,000, per the state Department of Public Health.
According to the latest report by the DPH issued just before 3 pm on Tuesday afternoon, there have been 148,988 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide. A total of 3,254 fatalities have been attributed to the virus. In Floyd County, there were 889 confirmed cases and 15 deaths. Gwinnett County reported the most confirmed cases in the state with 13,878, and Fulton County has had the most fatalities with 348.
