Over 150,000 people in Georgia have been infected with coronavirus, per the state Department of Public Health.
According to the latest report by the DPH issued just before 3 pm Wednesday afternoon, there have been 152,302 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide. A total of 3,335 fatalities have been attributed to the virus. In Floyd County, there were 905 confirmed cases and 15 fatalities. Fulton County reported the highest number of confirmed cases in the state with 14,169, in addition to the most fatalities with 350.
