THREE FACE CHARGES IN CONNECTION WITH MAY MURDER

Three individuals face murder charges in connection with the May deaths of Vanita Nicole Richardson and Truvenia Clarece Campbell, this according to a release from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation on Thursday.

The arrested include:

Desmond Lavonta Brown, age 28. He has been charged with two counts of malice murder, two counts of felony murder, two counts aggravated battery, two counts of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by first offender probationer, the theft by taking, three counts of tampering with evidence,false statements and writings, and two counts of abandonment of a dead body.

Devin Lashawn Watts, age 36. He’s been charged with two counts of malice murder, two counts of felony muder, two counts of aggravated battery, two counts of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during commission of a crime, possession of firearm by convicted felon, theft by taking, three counts of tampering with evidence, false statements and writings, and two counts of abandonment of a dead body.

Christoper Leedarius Pullen, age 23. He has been charged with two counts of felony murder, two counts of aggravated battery, two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of abandonment of a dead body, three counts of tampering with evidence, theft by taking, and false statements and writings.

These three had already been arrested and remain in custody at Floyd County Jail.

The bodies of Richardson, age 19, and Campbell, age 31, were discovered underneath Etowah Bridge off of the Rome bypass on Wednesday, May 13th. They were believed to have been murdered some time between the evening of Tuesday, May 12th and the morning of the 13th.
