ATLANTA BRAVES WRAP UP SEASON-OPENING SERIES WITH BIG WIN AT NEW YORK OVER METS

The Atlanta Braves’ bats came alive to produce a 14-1 win over the New York Mets on Sunday night in the finale of their season-opening series at Citi Field in New York. It allowed the Braves to take two of three games from the Mets over the weekend.

Highlights included a two-run homer from Dansby Swanson in the top of the fourth inning.

Swanson equalled his career-high with a total of five RBIs in the Braves’ win over the Mets. Marcell Ozuna, Austin Riley, and Ozzie Albies all contributed solo home runs.
