Aundi Lesley has been tapped to serve as the City of Rome’s new Director of Downtown Development, according to a release by the city. The appointment will be presented for affirmation at the Rome City Commission’s meeting set for Monday, August 10th.
Lesley was selected from a pool of more than 30 applicants. She now serves as the Program Coordinator at the UGA Small Business Development Center located on the campus of the University of West Georgia, with her immediate prior role as Main Street Director for Carrollton.
Says Lesley, “I have always loved Rome and now look forward to being part of this wonderful community.”
