COUNTY COMMISSION IN THE MIDST OF PUBLIC HEARINGS ON THE PROPOSED 2020 MILLAGE RATE

The Floyd County Board of Commissioners is in the midst of a series of three public hearings concerning the proposed 2020 millage rate. The first of them took place on Tuesday evening. The second will be held on Tuesday, August 11th at 8 am, with the third to take place at the Commission’s regular meeting evening at 6 pm in the Community Room located in suite 206 of the county’s Administrative Building on East 4th Avenue in Rome. The hearings are open to the public. All attendees should wear a mask and practice social distancing, according to a Floyd County release.
