NEARLY 205,000 GEORGIANS HAVE BEEN INFECTED WITH COVID-19 AS DEATH TOLL EXCEEDS 4,000

Nearly 205,000 people have been infected with coronavirus as the death toll has exceeded 4,000 in Georgia, per the State Department of Public Health.

According to the latest report by the DPH just before 3 pm on Thursday, there have been 204,895 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide. A total of 4,026 fatalities have been attributed to the virus. In Floyd County, there were 1,388 confirmed cases and now 17 fatalities. Fulton County had the most confirmed cases in the state with 19,230 and the most deaths with 410.
