Elevation House invites the public to participate in the Beautiful Minds Gala and Auction – A Gala to Go on Thursday, August 27th. The event will include dinner, silent and live auctions, and virtual entertainment.
Carrie Edge, Executive Director of Elevation House, enthuses that this virtual event will replace an in-person event at the Rome Area History Center which was cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Dinner and entertainment (via Zoom) will begin at 6:30 pm, with the live auction at 7 pm.
Tickets and sponsorships may be purchased at www.elevationhouse.org. The cost ranges from $50 for individual tickets to $2,500 for event sponsorships.
Edge asserts that anyone may participate in the silent auction – free of charge – regardless of whether or not they attend the virtual event.
Georgia Power and Owens Financial Group have each stepped up to serve as the presenting sponsors of Beautiful Minds.
The funds raised from the event will fuel the Elevation House mission to end economic and social isolation for adults living with mental illness. Edge says that the organization’s service numbers have more than doubled in the days of coronavirus.
