The Rome City Commission will meet in regular session this evening. Their meeting at 6:30 pm will be preceded by a caucus at 5 pm at City Hall (or the City Auditorium) on Broad Street. Both are open to the public.
Floyd County Commissioners will gather on Tuesday. Their regular meeting is set for 6 pm; it will follow a caucus at 4 pm. These gatherings will be held at the county’s Administration Building on East 4th Avenue. Earlier in the day, a second public hearing on the 2020 millage rate will take place; that is slated for 8 am. The third (and last) millage rate hearing will be held at their regular meeting.
