Nearly 220,000 people in Georgia have been infected with coronavirus, per the state Department of Public Health.
According to the latest report by the DPH just before 3 pm on Monday, there have been 219,025 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide. A total of 4,229 fatalities have been attributed to the virus. In Floyd County, there were 1,517 confirmed cases and 17 deaths. Fulton County had the most confirmed cases with 20,468 and the most deaths with 433.
