MORE THAN 3,500 NEW CASES OF CORONAVIRUS REPORTED ON TUESDAY IN GEORGIA

More than 3,500 new cases of coronavirus and 137 virus-related deaths were reported in Georgia on Tuesday by the state Department of Public Health.

According to the latest DPH report issued just before 3 pm on Tuesday, there have been 222,588 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide. A total of 4,351 fatalities have been attributed to the virus. In Floyd County, there were 1,580 confirmed cases and 18 deaths. Fulton County had the state’s highest number of confirmed cases with 20,874 and the most deaths with 445.
