The Rome Christmas Parade will return in 2020! It will be held in downtown Rome on December 1st, according to a release from the parade committee.
This year’s theme will be “Heroes of 2020” with a nod to those who kept this community safe and healthy amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The parade route may be modified to reflect CDC guidelines during the time of the event. Final plans will be announced on November 3rd.
Applications are now online at www.romechristmasparade.com. The deadline to apply is November 10th. Entry fee is $100. Late fees will be incurred. The parade committee recommends that no more than 10 people be on a float while walkers should practice social distancing and wear a mask.
