CORONAVIRUS CASES INCREASED BY NEARLY 3,000 IN GEORGIA ON TUESDAY

Coronavirus cases increased by nearly 3,000 to exceed 240,000 as the death toll rose by 69 on Tuesday across Georgia, per the state Department of Public Health.

According to the latest report by the DPH issued just before 3 pm, there have been 241,677 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state. A total of 4,794 fatalities have been attributed to the virus. In Floyd County, there were 1,845 confirmed cases and 20 fatalities. Fulton County reported the most confirmed cases in the state with 22,484 and the most deaths with 477.
