HAUNTED ON BROAD TOURS WILL BE BACK IN 2020

The award-winning Haunted on Broad Tours will return in 2020, according to an announcement on Tuesday by the Rome Area History Center.

This year’s tours will be highlighted by spooky storytelling of the Ridge and Valley Storytelling Guild, along with findings from the Southern Paranormal Investigators of recent investigations in downtown Rome.

Kristi Kent, the Director of Communications at the Georgia’s Rome Office of Tourism, asserts that there will be plenty of space for social distancing on the tours, which will take place over the first two weekends in October.

Tour groups will leave from the Rome Area History Center at 7 pm, 7:30 pm, 8 pm, 8:30 pm, and 9 pm on Friday and Saturday, October 2nd and 3rd, as well as Thursday and Friday, October 8th and 9th.

Participants who purchase tickets are eligible to enter for a chance to become a guest investigator with the Southern Paranormal Investigators. Tickets cost $10 per person and may be purchased at www.romeareahistorycenter.com or at either of the Georgia’s Rome Welcome Center and Gift Shops at 402 Civic Center Drive or 300 West First Street. Event proceeds will benefit the Rome Area History Center’s improvements and programming.

For additional information, contact the history center via phone at (706) 235-8051 or visit their website.

Haunted on Broad Tours were honored as “Best Event” in 2019 by Northwest Georgia’s Historic High Country Travel Association.
