MASK MANDATE IN EFFECT FOR FLOYD COUNTY SCHOOLS

The Floyd County Schools has implemented a mask mandate for all students, employees, and business essential visitors until further notice, according to an FCS media release. Face coverings or masks should be worn while indoors or upon entering any school offices or buildings, as well as at times when social distancing of at least six feet is difficult to implement or maintain across FCS campuses. If there is a medical reason for which a child cannot wear a mask or face covering, parents/guardians should provide a doctor’s note to keep on file at their child’s school.

Coosa High School, Coosa Middle School, and Pepperell Primary School all will shift to remote learning this week.

Parents of all FCS students have until this Wednesday, August 26th at 5 pm to switch their child’s learning option from virtual at-home to in-school, or vice-versa, for the remainder of this nine-week period.
