The Habitat for Humanity – Coosa Valley will benefit from a golf tournament dubbed “Drive One Fore! Habitat” set for Monday, October 5th at Stonebridge Golf Club in Rome.
Betsy Allgood, Executive Director, states that this outdoor event will serve as a replacement for the Hard Hats and High Heels Gala, which has been called off due to coronavirus concerns.
The cost to participate is $300 per team. Sponsorship costs range from $150 to $500. Interested parties may register online at www.habitatcoosavalley.org or at the Habitat ReStore at 504 East First Avenue in Rome.
The golf tournament will coincide with World Habitat Day, which is intended to celebrate Habitat for Humanity’s mission to bring people together to build communities, hope, and houses, asserts Allgood.
