OVER 2,300 NEW CASES OF COVID-19 REPORTED IN GEORGIA ON MONDAY

More than 2,300 new cases of COVID-19 and 25 virus-related fatalities were reported in Georgia on Monday by the state Department of Public Health.

According to the latest report from the DPH that was issued just before 3 pm, there have been 256,253 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide. A total of 5,156 fatalities have been attributed to the virus. In Floyd County, there were 2,028 confirmed cases and 28 fatalities. Fulton County had the state’s highest number of confirmed cases with 23,825 and the most deaths with 490.
