Cave Spring was recently honored by Explore Georgia as one of ‘Nine Small Towns Dripping with Charm’.
Sandra Lindsey, the Executive Director of the Cave Spring Welcome Center and Downtown Development, is excited about this designation. She urges all locals (as well as out-of-towners) to take time explore the historic and scenic community.
The iconic cave is now closed because of coronavirus concerns. The cave is just not conducive to social distancing, says Lindsey.
Alhough the cave is closed, Lindsey indicates that people still travel to Cave Spring for its other attractions.
Lindsey encourages all visitors to take a drink of pure water directly from the spring, explore Cave Spring’s historic sites, and shop at the unique businesses on the square.
