MORE THAN 2,300 NEW CASES OF COVID-19 REPORTED ACROSS GEORGIA ON TUESDAY

Almost 2,300 new cases of COVID-19 and over 100 virus-related fatalities were reported across Georgia on Tuesday by the state Department of Public Health.

According to the latest DPH report that was released just before 3 pm, there have been 272,697 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide. A total of 5,733 fatalities have been attributed to the virus. In Floyd County, there were 2,313 confirmed cases and 32 deaths. Fulton County had the state’s highest number of confirmed cases with 25,063 and the most deaths with 525.
