OZUNA NOTCHES THREE HOME RUNS IN BRAVES WIN OVER RED SOX

The Atlanta Braves beat the Boston Red Sox 10-3 on Tuesday evening in the middle outing of a three-game interleague series at Fenway Park in Boston; it was the third straight win for the Braves.

Marcell Ozuna made history as the first National League player ever to notch three home runs in one game at Fenway Park. That was the first three-homer game of his career. He slugged a two-run homer in the top of the first inning, a solo shot in the seventh, and a three-run bomb in the eighth.

Ozuna’s second homer of the evening marked his 1,000th career major league hit.

Ian Anderson picked up the win for Atlanta in his second major league outing after giving up two runs and six hits, walking one and striking out eight in six innings of work.

The Braves will go for the sweep of the Red Sox tonight. First pitch is slated for 7:30 pm. The game will be broadcast on WLAQ 1410 AM and 96.9 FM; air time is 6:15 pm.
