MAYOR PRO TEM CRAIG MCDANIEL: THOUGH CHALLENGING, THE YEAR 2020 HAS BEEN GOOD FOR ROME OFFICIALS

In spite of challenges presented by the coronavirus pandemic, the year 2020 has been good for the City of Rome, this according to Mayor Pro Tem Craig McDaniel, who adds that Rome City Commissioners have remained on task in regards to basic public services and on the forefront in the fight against the community spread of coronavirus.

McDaniel believes that Commissioners served this community well through the latest mask mandate that was approved in late August, though masks are really a ‘personal choice’.

The Rome City Commission’s next regular meeting is scheduled to take place next Monday evening at 6:30 pm at City Hall (or City Auditorium). It is open to the public.
