OVER 285,000 GEORGIANS HAVE (OR HAVE HAD) CORONAVIRUS

More than 285,000 people have (or have had) the coronavirus in Georgia, per the state Department of Public Health, which reported 1,595 new cases along with 26 virus-related fatalities on Tuesday.

According to the latest report by the DPH issued just before 3 pm, there have been 285,350 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state. A total of 6,070 fatalities have been attributed to the virus. In Floyd County, there were 2,514 confirmed cases and 35 deaths. Fulton County had the state’s highest number of confirmed cases with 25,756 and the most deaths with 548.
