OVER 294,000 IN GEORGIA HAVE (OR HAVE HAD) CORONAVIRUS

Over 294,000 people have (or have had) the coronavirus in Georgia, per the state Department of Public Health, which reported 1,455 new cases as well as 47 virus-related deaths on Sunday.

According to the latest report by the DPH issued just before 3 pm, there have been 294,314 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state. A total of 6,333 fatalities have been attributed to the virus. In Floyd County, there were 2,695 confirmed cases and 39 deaths. Fulton County had the state’s highest number of confirmed cases with 26,225 and the most fatalities with 555.
