The Rome-Floyd Litter and Blight Task Force is resuming efforts to ensure a cleaner community, following a break due to coronavirus.
Allison Watters, Floyd County Commissioner and member of the Task Force, indicates that the group’s goal is to encourage all residents to take better care of Rome and Floyd County.
The task force wants to ensure a cleaner community for the benefit of future generations as well as economic development, adds Watters.
The next gathering of the Rome-Floyd Litter and Blight Task Force is set for this afternoon at 4 pm in the Extension Office at the county’s Administration Building on East 4th Avenue. It is open to the public. Those in attendance are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
