NUMBER OF CONFIRMED CORONAVIRUS CASES IN GEORGIA HAS PASSED 300,000

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Georgia has passed 300,000, per the state’s Department of Public Health, which reported 1,901 new cases and 56 virus-related deaths on Thursday.

According to the latest report by the DPH issued just before 3 pm, there have been 300,903 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state. A total of 6,474 fatalities have been attributed to the virus. In Floyd County, there were 2,841 confirmed cases and 39 deaths. Fulton County had the state’s highest number of confirmed cases with 26,620 and the most fatalities with 560.
