OVER 307,000 GEORGIANS HAVE (OR HAVE HAD) CORONAVIRUS

Over 307,000 people in Georgia have (or have had) the coronavirus, per the state Department of Public Health, which reported 1,187 new cases and three virus-related deaths on Monday.

According to the latest report by the DPH issued just before 3 pm, there have been 307,339 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state. A total of 6,604 fatalities have been attributed to the virus. In Floyd County, there were 2,984 confirmed cases and 40 deaths. Fulton County had the state’s highest number of confirmed cases with 27,080 and the most fatalities with 564.
