BRAVES CLINCH THEIR THIRD STRAIGHT DIVISION TITLE WITH WIN OVER MARLINS

The Atlanta Braves clinched the National League East for the third year in a row with a victory over the Miami Marlins 11-1 on Tuesday evening at Truist Park. It marks the Braves’ 20th division championship, the most for any team in major league history.

Marcell Ozuna led the charge offensively with five RBIs to include a pair of home runs. Freddie Freeman, Ozzie Albies, and Dansby Swanson also went deep for the Braves. Starting pitcher Bryse Wilson was credited with the win after surrendering just three hits over five scoreless innings, walking one and striking out a career-high seven.
