Just under one month remains until day one of the two-day 2020 Wings Over North Georgia drive-in air show, which is scheduled for October 24th and 25th at Rome’s Russell Regional Airport.
John Cowman, President of JLC Airshow Management, confirmed this week that the US Army’s Special Operations Command’s Black Daggers parachute team will be the official jump team for opening ceremonies at WONG ’20.
The US Air Force Thunderbirds will make a third appearance in Rome as part of this year’s air show. Other performers will include the A-10 Thunderbolt II, F-16 Viper, and C-17 Globemaster demo teams.
