MORE THAN 311,000 PEOPLE ACROSS GEORGIA HAVE (OR HAVE HAD) CORONAVIRUS

More than 311,000 people in Georgia have (or have had) coronavirus, per the state Department of Public Health.

According to the latest report by the DPH issued on Thursday afternoon just prior to 3 pm, there have been 311,046 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state. A total of 6,822 deaths have been attributed to this virus. In Floyd County, there were 3,100 confirmed cases and 44 deaths. Fulton County had the Peach State’s highest number of confirmed cases with 27,305, in addition to the most fatalities with 569.
