POPULAR EVENTS WILL RETURN TO ROME, GA THIS FALL WITH PRECAUTIONS IN THIS ERA OF CORONAVIRUS

A number of popular local events will be held during the fall with precautions to keep attendees safe amid this era of coronavirus.

Fiddlin’ Fest Between the Rivers is set for Saturday, October 10th. This award winning event hosted annually by Rome’s Downtown Development Authority will be highlighted by live bluegrass music as well as arts and crafts, enthuses Kristi Kent, the Director of Communications at the Georgia’s Rome Office of Tourism. Special precautions will be taken to ensure that all attendees will be kept socially distant.

The 2020 Rome Shakespeare Festival took place at the Town Green this past weekend, which gave Romans an opportunity to again experience a little live theatre.
