BRAVES TAKE GAME ONE OF NATIONAL LEAGUE WILD CARD SERIES IN EXTRA INNINGS

The Atlanta Braves beat the Cincinnati Reds 1-0 in 13 innings in Game One of their National League Wild Card Series at Truist Park on Wednesday.

Atlanta secured the victory on a walk-off single from Freddie Freeman which brought Cristian Pache to home plate in the bottom of the 13th inning.

AJ Minter was credited with the win in relief in this outing which began as a pitchers’ duel between Max Fried and Trevor Bauer.

The Braves will host the Reds in Game Two of the best-of-three series today at 12:08 pm. The game will be broadcast on WLAQ 1410 AM and 96.9 FM; air time is 10:45 am.
