ATLANTA BRAVES ARE NLCS-BOUND!!!

The Atlanta Braves are bound for the National League Championship Series for the first time since 2001! They punched their ticket to the next round of the MLB’s 2020 postseason by completing a three-game sweep of the Miami Marlins with a 7-0 shut out victory in Game Three of the NL Division Series on Thursday afternoon in Houston, Texas.

Kyle Wright was credited with the win after surrendering just three hits over six scoreless innings; he also walked two and struck out seven. Once again, Travis d’Arnaud led the charge offensively with a two-run double in Atlanta’s four-run third inning.

The Braves will go on to face the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS. Game One is set for Monday out in Arlington, Texas; first pitch is TBA. Follow the Braves in the postseason on WLAQ 1410 AM and 96.9 FM.
