OVER 331,000 GEORGIANS HAVE (OR HAVE HAD) CORONAVIRUS AS THE DEATH TOLL NEARS 7,500

More than 331,000 people have (or have had) coronavirus in Georgia as the death toll is nearing 7,500, per the state Department of Public Health, which reported 1,162 new cases and 23 virus-related deaths on Sunday.

According to the latest report by the DPH issued just before 3 pm, there have been 331,409 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state. A total of 7,416 fatalities have been attributed to the virus. In Floyd County, there were 3,423 confirmed cases and 49 deaths. Fulton County had the state’s highest number of confirmed cases with 29,072 and the most fatalities with 591.
