MORE THAN 334,000 IN GEORGIA HAVE (OR HAVE HAD) COVID-19

Over 334,000 people across Georgia have (or have had) coronavirus while the death toll nears 7,500, per the state Department of Public Health, which reported 1,331 new cases and 19 virus-related deaths on Wednesday.

According to the latest report by the DPH issued just before 3 pm, there have been 334,601 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state. A total of 7,470 fatalities have been attributed to the virus. In Floyd County, there were 3,500 confirmed cases and 49 deaths. Fulton County had the state’s highest number of confirmed cases with 29,329 and the most fatalities with 597.
