MORE THAN 336,000 GEORGIANS HAVE (OR HAVE HAD) COVID-19

More than 336,000 people in Georgia have (or have had) coronavirus, per the state Department of Public Health, which reported 1,686 new cases as well as 23 virus-related deaths on Thursday. Two of those fatalities were reported in Floyd County.

According to the latest report by the DPH issued just before 3 pm, there have been 336,241 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state. A total of 7,492 fatalities have been attributed to the virus. In Floyd County, there were 3,519 confirmed cases and 51 deaths. Fulton County had the state’s highest number of confirmed cases with 29,429 and the most fatalities with 599.
