The Atlanta Falcons’ season-opening losing streak came to an end on Sunday afternoon with a 40-23 victory over the Minnesota Vikings on the road at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Matt Ryan had four touchdown passes, two of them to Julio Jones. The Falcons improved to 1-5 with the win. They will be back on their home field at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta for a bout with the Detroit Lions next Sunday afternoon.
