The Floyd County Schools announced Monday that Pepperell High School’s football game at Gordon Central that had been scheduled for Friday, October 23rd has been postponed until Monday, October 26th at 7 pm since members of the GCHS football team are having to quarantine due to their direct exposure to COVID-19. In addition, Armuchee High School’s football game slated for Friday night against BEST Academy has been cancelled as some members of the AHS football team have been exposed to the virus and are quarantined. A separate announcement will be made if a make-up date is finalized.
