LIMITED NUMBER OF BOOTHS REMAIN AVAILABLE FOR ROME-FLOYD CHAMBER’S BUSINESS EXPO, F&P GEORGIA ANNOUNCES EXPANSION IN FLOYD COUNTY

A limited number of booths remain available for the Rome-Floyd Chamber’s 2020 Business Expo, slated for Thursday, November 5th from 10 am to 5 pm at the Forum River Center. In addition to the in-person event, there will be a virtual component to this year’s Expo.

Thomas Kislat, Director of Membership and Entrepreneurial Development, urges local business owners to reach out to him at the Chamber to reserve a booth space.

The Chamber may be reached via telephone at (706) 291-7663. Kislat directs the public to stay tuned to www.romega.com and the Rome-Floyd Chamber’s Facebook page for updated event information.

Admission to the in-person portion of the Business Expo costs $3 in advance and $5 at the door.

Kislat says that the online component of the Expo provides an opportunity for local businesses to reach potential customers not just here in Rome and Floyd County, but worldwide.

In other business news, F&P Georgia announced on Tuesday their plans for a $22.8 million expansion of their stamping and assembly facility located at the Floyd County Industrial Park. This will result in the creation of 15 jobs.
