NUMBER OF GEORGIANS CONFIRMED TO HAVE (OR HAVE HAD) CORONAVIRUS NOW OVER 345,000

The number of Georgians confirmed to have (or have had) COVID-19 is now more than 345,000, per the state Department of Public Health, which reported 1,824 new cases and 27 virus-related deaths on Thursday.

According to the latest report by the DPH issued just before 3 pm, there have been 345,535 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state. A total of 7,729 fatalities have been attributed to the virus. In Floyd County, there were 3,785 confirmed cases and 57 deaths. Fulton County had the state’s highest number of 30,264 and the most fatalities with 613.
