CLOSE TO 352,000 CONFIRMED CASES OF COVID-19 REPORTED IN GEORGIA BY THE DPH

A total of 975 new cases of COVID-19 were reported across Georgia by the state Department of Public Health on Monday, in addition to 18 virus-related fatalities.

According to the latest report by the DPH issued just before 3 pm, there have been 351,881 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state. A total of 7,827 fatalities have been attributed to the virus. In Floyd County, there were 3,912 confirmed cases and 59 deaths. Fulton County had the state’s highest number of confirmed cases with 30,926 and the most deaths with 619.
