NEARLY 362,000 GEORGIANS HAVE (OR HAVE HAD) COVID-19

Nearly 362,000 people have (or have had) the coronavirus in Georgia, per the state Department of Public Health, which reported 1,281 new cases as well as three virus related deaths on Sunday.

According to the latest report by the DPH issued just before 3 pm, there have been 361,982 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state. A total of 7,981 fatalities have been attributed to the virus. In Floyd County, there were 4,114 confirmed cases and 61 deaths. Fulton County had the state’s highest number of confirmed cases with 31,753 and the most fatalities with 628.
