JUST ONE CORONAVIRUS RELATED FATALITY REPORTED SUNDAY IN GEORGIA

Only one COVID-19-related death was reported in Georgia on Sunday by the state Department of Public Health, which also indicated that there were 1,255 new cases of the virus.

According to the latest report by the DPH issued just before 3 pm, there have been 373,078 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state. A total of 8,194 fatalities have been attributed to the virus. In Floyd County, there were 4,339 confirmed cases and 65 deaths. Fulton County had the state’s highest number of confirmed cases with 32,694 and the most fatalities with 636.
