OVER 374,000 IN GEORGIA HAVE (OR HAVE HAD) CORONAVIRUS

More than 374,000 people in Georgia have (or have had) coronavirus, per the state Department of Public Health, which reported 1,111 new cases as well as 29 virus-related deaths on Monday. One of those fatalities was reported here in Floyd County.

According to the latest report by the DPH issued just before 3 pm, there have been 374,181 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state. A total of 8,223 fatalities have been attributed to the virus. In Floyd County, there were 4,356 confirmed cases and 66 deaths. Fulton County had the state’s highest number of confirmed cases with 32,786 and the most fatalities with 638.
